Emergency Services

The Municipality of the District of Guysborough continues to maintain, improve, and build relationships with all of the Emergency Service providers. 

Also, directly related to the Emergency Services section is the maintenance of our civic addressing database and provision of 911 markers for businesses and residents of the Municipality. These signs made specifically for each owner can be purchased from the Municipal Office, complete with a 2-metre angle iron post to be secured in the ground, at a cost of $20.00. 

There is also a Civic Addressing By-law within the Municipality that addresses civic numbering issues as well as the naming of private roads.  

Emergency Services include Fire Protection, Emergency Health Services, RCMP, and our own Emergency Management Organization.
