Municipality wins 2007 Municipal InNOVAward
The Municipality of the District of Guysborough has won this year's Municipal InNOVAward for its development and implementation of a creative solution to solid waste management. This project involves the long-term co-operation of the District of Guysborough with 16 other municipalities to provide solid waste management services in a cost-effective and sustainable manner.
The InNOVAward was presented by Premier Rodney MacDonald at the Union of Nova Scotia Municipalities Annual Conference in Halifax on Wednesday, November 6th, 2007.
