The Municipality of the District of Guysborough is seeking to fill the position of Tax Revenue Clerk. The position commences October 31st and the normal working hours are between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (35 hours per week). Education will preferably be a business administration diploma and the applicant should have a minimum of 2 years related experience in a demanding office environment. The salary range for this position is $35,962 - $44,953 commensurate with education/experience.

The Tax Revenue Clerk’s responsibilities will include carrying out the tax related procedures for the Municipality, including collection of all taxes including delinquent accounts, tax sale procedures, tax billing, updating interest on all overdue accounts and processing of payments. The Tax Revenue Clerk also acts as the general receptionist for the Municipal Office and therefore must have exceptional communication skills.
