Recreation Spring/Summer Programming Update:
June 9, 2014

Guysborough and Canso Minor Soccer
The 2014 youth minor soccer season has started up full swing in Guysborough and Canso. The Recreation Department is happy to announce that we have about two hundred students age 4 to 14 enrolled in this free popular program. The program began in May and wraps up on June 28th with a year-end tournament in Mulgrave. Guysborough recently hosted its tournament this past weekend. The Tournaments are special events because it is a day where the players can show off their skills for many fans while being physically active and interact with other teams and families. The Recreation Department would like to thank all the volunteers in Canso and Guysborough who make this program a success.

If anyone has any pictures they would like to send in from recent minor soccer games please feel free to post them on the MODG Facebook page.
